“Orana House”
The team at Cruisin Automotive are proud to have partnered with Orana House by donating toiletries, women’s clothing, children’s clothing and toys to the women’s refuge based in the City of Bayswater. A chance meeting between Cruisin Automotive and Orana House was made at this year’s WA Hot Rod Show and Street Machine Spectacular, where some of the proceeds of ticket sales from the Show went to the refuge.
Cruisin Automotive decided to also contribute upon hearing about the good work being done.
Cruisin staff were amazed at how much stuff they had accumulated which was perfect for donation. Right now the refuge is looking for good quality women and children’s clothing in season, non-perishable food, toiletries such as shampoo and creams and good quality children’s toys and books.

Orana House Women’s Refuge provides safe, supported, short-term accommodation, advocacy and holistic support for women and children escaping domestic or family violence.
Orana believes everyone has the right to live free from violence, so non-violent principles are used in all work practices, to assist clients to recognize their strengths, to promote empowerment, to promote diversity and to advocate for clients rights whilst maintaining respectful and understanding relationships in a safe environment.
