Modern Performance for Classic Cars

While we love the nostalgia of a classic carburettor, many of our customers are opting for modern drivability through performance upgrades. That’s where our EFI conversions come in. We install top-tier systems from FAST and Borla to give you smoother starts, better throttle response and greater fuel economy without compromising the integrity of your build.

These conversions often pair with computer-controlled transmissions, custom fuel and brake lines, and even remote immobilisers for added security. Want a hidden install that keeps your bay clean and uncluttered? We’ve done it. From retro Mustangs to 1950s Chevys, we tailor each conversion to fit the car and the lifestyle of its owner.

We also offer complete performance packages, including cam upgrades, exhaust tuning, air/fuel ratio optimisation and brake enhancements, all fitted and tested in-house.

At Cruisin Automotive, we know that no two builds are the same. Whether you’re chasing originality, modern performance or an all-out custom, our workshop takes your vision seriously from the get-go. We work closely with you to bring your dream to life, starting with a face-to-face consultation at our Malaga workshop or over the phone. From there, we dive into planning and sourcing the right parts (often from our 55+ US brand dealers), designing the fabrication and mechanical upgrades needed, and then executing the work in-house across panel and paint, auto electrical, upholstery and more. There’s no outsourcing or guesswork. Everything is managed under one roof by tradesmen who live and breathe classic and performance cars. 

Our process may include stripping down the shell, rust repair, full chassis rebuilds or retrofitting new tech like fuel injection or air suspension. We document each step so you’re always in the loop, and we welcome you to drop in and check on progress anytime. Whether it’s a quick turnaround or a show-stopping build, your project is treated with the respect and detail it deserves.

What Happens in Our Malaga Workshop

Our certified Malaga workshop isn’t just busy, it’s a finely tuned machine. On any given day, our tradesmen are flat-out working on everything from muscle car maintenance to complex hot rod modifications.  

Need a 9” diff swap? A full disc brake conversion? Or perhaps a full chassis fabrication to suit your LS conversion? We’ve got the skills and the gear to make it happen. Our mechanical department handles everything from suspension rebuilds and steering upgrades to transmission servicing and dyno-ready engine builds.  

Our in-house panel and paint team operates from a state-of-the-art booth with precision colour matching, handling everything from satin black finishes to multi-stage candies and concours-level resprays. Meanwhile, our trimmers are restoring interiors back to showroom spec or customising them for the show scene.  

This integrated approach means no delays, no third parties, and no guesswork, just consistent, high-quality craftsmanship from start to finish.
