Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Being at SEMA is always an amazing experience but I can honestly say that 2019 will be a visit to remember. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would actually be able to walk across the four lanes of one of the most iconic drag strips in the US of A. From our workshop in Malaga to the home of two NHRA national events and over 50 other events annually we had the pure pleasure of walking around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drag strip.

They reckon they can reach speeds of 330 miles per hour (530 kms/h) over here, but as a guest of the famous McLeod Racing I wasn’t going to chance it.

McLeod Racing are a global supplier of clutch kits, clutch components, hydraulic bearings, flywheels, bellhousings and other performance driveline products. In 2008, Professional NHRA Driver Paul Lee acquired McLeod Racing, inspiring change to expand into new markets and widen the product line. It was great to meet Paul and to hear about some of the new products coming out of their California headquarters.

This is one of the most amazing things about SEMA. The chance to chat about the latest parts and accessories with the people who make them and then to bring that knowledge to our customers. I’ve been to a few SEMA’s now but this is one I certainly will not forget. – Ian.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drop in for a quote?

Absolutely. We’re happy to talk cars anytime, but if it’s a complex job, booking a time ensures we can give it proper attention.

It depends on the job. Small mechanical work can usually be booked within a few weeks. Full builds may have a lead time, but we’ll always be upfront.
We do both. We have access to over 55 US brands, and often get better pricing and compatibility. But if you already have parts, we’re happy to inspect and install them if they meet quality standards.
Yes. We’re happy to scale projects to suit. From staged builds to smaller one-off repairs, we’ll help you get the best outcome within your budget.

We offer pre-inspection checks and can work with certifiers and engineers to make sure your vehicle meets the required standards.

That’s fine. We regularly take on in-progress projects and help finish what others couldn’t.
