These 4-inch drop axles are cast from high-strength 65-45-12 ductile iron and accept 1937-48 Ford style spindles. Axels are plain or chrome-plated, 47 3/4 inches measured at the kingpin centers. Aluminium axles are in plain, highlight polished, or full polished.
Achieve a smoother, more comfortable ride with Posies Super Slide (TM) springs for 1928-1934 Ford front ends. The ends of the spring leaves of a Super Slide (TM) spring have a unique “dimple” shape that retains a moly-nylon button. This button works as a dry lubricant and stops leaf-to-leaf interference.
This freedom from friction lets the spring move more easily, thereby giving a softer, quieter ride.
