This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air takes pride of place in our garage at the moment. There is a little bit of work we are undertaking.
Vintage Air, the inventors of performance air conditioning was installed in this car. The stainless steel vents in the dashboard gives the original standard appearance. Most of the hoses are hidden in the top of the fender.
Wilwood Disc Brakes were installed in both the front and rear applications. Currie Enterprises supplied the 9-inch differential with a nodular centre limited slip differential (LSD) with all heavy duty bearings and the 31 spline axels with the differential housing were painted in our spray booth before installation.
An Aldan American coilover kit was installed on the front of this Chevy.
The quarter vent window rubber seals are supplied by Danchuk USA and they are fitted in-house by Cruisin Automotive.
In addition to the work shown above we also replaced the trunk floor with Dynacorn restoration sheet metal, Tanks Inc supplied a new tank and fuel sender and the vehicle was retrimmed entirely in-house. Cruisin Automotive also supplied new tyres and had the original wheels on the car re-polished. We are dealers for all the products used on this vehicle.
