Our garage has been a bit brighter lately thanks to the unique yellow paint job which accompanies this 1955 Chevy.
The body has been removed and the underside painted black with the chassis stripped and painted in 2pac black. We’ve installed a Big Block Chev with a six-speed T56 gearbox and McLeod Racing twin plate clutch also the car is fitted with FAST Fuel Injection technology. The car contains Ridetech front suspension tubular control arms with drop spindles and on the rear we’ve installed a Ridetech’s Universal Weld-In 4-Link kit. The car is equipped with Ridetech air suspension with two compressors and a big tank.
Once the suspension was finished we installed Wilwood breaks front and rear. Wilwood brakes operate in conjunction with Cruisin Automotive Electric Brake System. All new brake lines have been fabricated throughout the vehicle. New fuel lines and a new fuel tank were provided by Tanks Inc.
Dakota Digital supplied the gauges and we installed a Vintage Air heat and cool demist system with hidden hoses in the engine bay. All unwanted holes have been welded and the engine bay has been painted. Danchuk supplied all the reproduction parts for the build. Cruisin Automotive handed all aspects of this build in house.

Before you take a look at the restoration a quick note about the paintwork. It is only partially done in these photos. Only the front end has been done in our custom spray booth. You can see the amazing difference in these photos and how we carefully remove scratches and dents.
Scratches similar to these have already been removed from the paintwork at the front.
All the dash modifications over the years were removed. For example Smiths gauges and the Dakota Digital gauges (see bleow) were installed and the rest of the dash returned to its original glory with new dash trim from Danchuk.
Due to the air conditioning being installed there is no glove box. We’ve utilised this space to house the FAST readout screen panel.
This is a full RidePro-X Air Suspension Leveling Control System from Ridetech with a five gallon fuel compressor system.
Dakota Digital has multiple colours. By using a phone app you can chose any colour to suit your car. I think you would agree this colour is the perfect compliment to the car.
This is a Danchuk reproduction interior dash trim.
All parts supplied by Cruisin Automotive and the installation and painting was done in-house.
